Mom's Thanksgiving Stuffing

  • 12 cups fresh white bread, cubed

  • 3/4 cup parsley

  • 1 T poultry seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1’2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2 cup butter (or vegan butter)

  • 3 cups finely chopped celery

  • 1 cup minced onions

  • 5+ garlic cloves

  1. Cut bread and sprinkle in dry seasoning

  2. Saute celery and onions in 1/2 c butter on lowish heat until translucent and soft (15ish minutes.) Add garlic in last 5 minutes.

  3. Mix it all together, put in large 9x13” glass dish, cover with aluminum foil and cook for about 45 minutes at 350.

My Mom has been making this recipes for over 50 years. No reason to mess with it. (Except for adding garlic. It’s never wrong to add garlic.)
