Directions
Drain and press for an hour
Mix marinade using immersion blender.
Cut tofu into ¼ wide pieces, about 12 per block.
Mix tofu into marinade for 2-8 hours in large baking dish.
Heat oven to 450 and grease a rimmed baking sheet
Bake 15 minutes, flip and spoon marinate. Bake 10 more minutes, flip and add marinade again.
Once it’s a little burned on the edges, pull out and let sit for a few minutes to firm up then cut.
Ginger-Sesame Marinade
¼ C Soy Sauce
¼ C Rice Wine Vinegar
2 T Lime Juice
2 T brown sugar
1 t ginger (or 1 T fresh)
2 t sesame oil
2 t hot sauce
2 cloves garlic
Smoky Maple Marinade
¼ C Soy Sauce
¼ C veg Stock
2 T maple syrup
2 t liquid smoke
1 T lemon juice
1 T Tomato Paste
1 T Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic
