Baked Tofu
Directions
- Drain and press for an hour
- Mix marinade using immersion blender.
- Cut tofu into ¼ wide pieces, about 12 per block.
- Mix tofu into marinade for 2-8 hours in large baking dish.
- Heat oven to 450 and grease a rimmed baking sheet
- Bake 15 minutes, flip and spoon marinate. Bake 10 more minutes, flip and add marinade again.
- Once it’s a little burned on the edges, pull out and let sit for a few minutes to firm up then cut.
Ginger-Sesame Marinade
- ¼ C Soy Sauce
- ¼ C Rice Wine Vinegar
- 2 T Lime Juice
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1 t ginger (or 1 T fresh)
- 2 t sesame oil
- 2 t hot sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
Smoky Maple Marinade
- ¼ C Soy Sauce
- ¼ C veg Stock
- 2 T maple syrup
- 2 t liquid smoke
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1 T Tomato Paste
- 1 T Olive Oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic
